Instructional Video Presentation
This 18-minute video presentation guides trainers and facilitators through the process of integrating group work into their workshops with intention and structure. It highlights key considerations for designing collaborative activities, addresses common challenges, and provides practical strategies to ensure group work is effective, inclusive, and aligned with learning objectives.

I developed this project by scripting the content in Google Docs, designing visuals in PowerPoint, recording and editing the voiceover in Audacity, and uploading the final product to YouTube, fully captioned. The video reflects both research-backed strategies and insights from my own experience in training and instructional design.
The video incorporates a worksheet component designed to promote hands-on learning. Instead of simply watching, viewers work through guided exercises to develop a structured group-work plan tailored to their training needs. By the end, they will have a ready-to-use activity along with a rubric to assess its effectiveness and refine it as needed.

The video covers:
✔ Why group work works – the benefits of collaborative, applied learning.
✔ Common challenges – and practical solutions to avoid pitfalls.
✔ Planning effective group exercises – from structuring activities to writing clear instructions.
✔ Evaluating your plan – ensuring activities align with learning outcomes and engage all participants.

This project showcases my ability to translate instructional expertise into engaging, structured learning experiences. It demonstrates a balance of theoretical knowledge, practical application, and technical execution, creating a polished, interactive training resource that is both effective and accessible.

Troubleshooting Guide
Following a recipe can look easy, but problems can crop up at any moment, stalling progress. I created this FAQ-style troubleshooting guide to be used in the culinary education context for diagnosing and correcting common dough issues as they a-RISE!

Designed in Canva, this guide serves as a classroom reference, allowing students to identify mistakes, adjust their techniques, and improve their dough handling skills independently.
By breaking down issues into an "if x, then y" structure, this resource helps bakers address specific issues as they encounter them, reinforcing hands-on learning and integrating troubleshooting into the baking process, thereby helping students develop problem-solving skills.

This Resource:

✔ Provides a quick-reference guide for common sourdough issues.
✔ Reinforces problem-solving skills in baking education.
✔ Helps students diagnose mistakes independently, reducing the need for instructor intervention.
✔ Can be used as a classroom handout, poster, or digital resource.

Branding Desk Aid / Job Aid
I designed this printable desk aid on Canva for an audience of entrepreneurs in the handmade products space. It is intended to help small businesses strengthen their branding with simple, actionable guidance conveyed in a friendly, youthful tone (reflecting the demographics of such businesses).
Created as a quick reference tool, it supports makers in ensuring brand cohesion, recognition, and alignment across products, visuals, and communications. Targeted for distribution after workshops or webinars, it breaks branding down into four key areas:

✔Product Design
✔Consistent Style Guide
✔Customer Communications
✔Marketing Strategies

By keeping this practical, visually appealing desk aid on display, small business owners can quickly check that their branding is consistent in their daily operations—whether designing new products, posting online, or engaging with customers.
